Brand Reveal for Pretty Planner Co.

Today is very special because it’s launch day for the Pretty Planner Co rebrand!

Pretty Planner Co is a modern luxe planning company providing products to design an intentional and pretty life. Right now Pretty Planner Co offers a wide variety of custom planners that infuse style and color into your world as you plan out your days. Krystle is the powerhouse owner behind this company and it was such a dream to work together. Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the development process and how we got to the final designs.

Krystle began her business (like most businesses) out of necessity. Back in 2019 she wanted to stay motivated and saw the benefit of using a planner. She wanted something that had personality that she could customize and so she filled the need by creating her own and Pretty Planner Co was born.

In the beginning she did everything herself, but as Krystle recognized the big goals she had for her business she knew that she needed to uplevel her brand and give it that clarity so she could reach her goals.

Krystle said she wanted peace about the aesthetics of the business. She wanted a memorable logo and create brand recognition. And mainly she wanted something professional and cohesive so she can grow the company exponentially.

I was so excited about this business and the potential that I was eager to get started. We began with strategy by identifying her core values, understanding her ideal client, and learning what was important to her when it comes to design. For Krystle, it was important that the brand look modern, chic, and professional with some flair. Pretty Planner Co wasn’t just about looking professional, it was about adding personality to your lifestyle as well.

Some of the words Krystle used to describe her ideal branding were: Pretty, empowered, bold, feminine, modern, stylish, crisp, professional, relaxed.

Clients often come with adjectives that seem to clash, such as professional and also relaxed. But this is a good thing! Because, just like your personality, you can have many descriptions of your brand while still achieving the outcome you hope for; and in this case, it was a cohesive and memorable brand.

Krystle said about working together: “My favorite part about working together was how patient you were when I wasn’t feeling something. I didn’t get a sense of uneasiness when we had to go back to the drawing board. You provided every product when you said you would, met every deadline and I eagerly anticipated every email like it was Christmas lol.”

I love that Krystle said this, because often times clients can feel like they don’t want to upset me or they may feel bad about a 2nd revision. But I WELCOME the feedback and critiques because it’s in an effort to give you a brand that you absolutely love. The collaborative brand process is the fun of creating something new!

The color palette is bold, modern, elevated, fun, and feminine.

For the logo, we wanted something that would stand out, that’s not your typical font, so we chose a fun and lovely font and made custom tweaks to give it it’s own look and feel.

Here’s a look at the Brand Style Guide and for the marketing materials we created stickers, tissue, and packaging to elevate her client experience.

At the end of the process I asked if we accomplished her design goals and what was her favorite part of working together and here’s what she said:

“Yes! I’m confident to explore the growth potential for my company because the branding is professional looking. We have good quality products, but now the branding takes it another level.”

Krystle can now use her branding to grow her business by elevating her client’s experience. This new brand gives her the modern, fun vibe she wanted while keeping it professional. This new beautiful brand will now establish brand recognition over time and help propel her towards her biggest goals!

Here’s what Krystle said about the process of working together:

“Before I was confused about my brand messaging and not confident in our branding. Labels were mismatched, logos weren’t as consistent. I don’t have to guess how products, emails, and other items are presented to customers. After working together, it all clicked. It gave me a sense of clarity. It’s worth every penny! The whole experience was great and professional from beginning to end. I feel like it’s the best investment yet and it will begin to pay for itself.”
