A BTS Peek at Chioma’s Design Day

I am so excited to share with you a second round of Dedicated Design Day Q&A’s! This is a behind the scenes look at a Design Day I did with Chioma Onyiuke and our work together so you can see the extent of what a Design Day can do for you! And instead of answering questions myself and telling you why I think Design Days are the bomb, I’m going to let my client who actually went through the experience answer them herself.

For a little backstory, my Dedicated Design Day service is all about completing your design to-dos in just one day. This is perfect for any small business needing a design help and wanting to check off a variety of items from their to-do lists!

We schedule your Design Day and you gather all the information I’ll need to design what you need help with - such as photos, copy, inspiration, etc. When your Design Day arrives, we spend the whole day (uninterrupted) working on your projects. My workday consists of 4 hours but you would be surprised at how much we get completed! But, enough about the service, let me introduce you to Chioma and her experience!

RA: Chioma welcome! I’m so excited to have you here and chatting with us! Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do:

CH: My name is Chioma Onyiuke, born in Switzerland to Nigerian parents and reside in Nigeria. I believe my mission on earth is to raise human consciousness on a global level and I do this by guiding my clients into the vast landscapes of themselves where their highest visions reside. I support coaches to confidently deliver life changing results for their clients.

RA: That’s incredible! I love it. When it comes to your business, what did you feel you needed help with in terms of design?

CH: I needed help with branding my newest offer. I wanted it cohesive and to project a message to my prospects and the design day very well did that.

RA: How long does designing take on your own?

CH: FOREVER! No matter what I'm working on, it takes me so long.

RA: What was the push to invest in a Design Day?

CH: The final push was seeing another person in the industry and just loving her brand designs for her new program, I knew it was a sign to go for it, go for something with a professional design and one that could catch on to the message I was trying to drive across to my prospects.

RA: I love that. When your Design Day arrived, how were you feeling?

CH: It was such a beautiful feeling, exhilarated, beyond excited that my idea was finally coming to life with such beautiful brand designs and one that captured my heart in its totality.

Here is the branding we did for her new program. We created a logo suite, color palette, and I did graphics in her Canva so she could use them for marketing.

RA: As a quick backstory, the Design Day is a 4 hour sprint of getting as many things done on your list as I can. We move quickly from one task to the next and I’m constantly in communication with the client as I design each item and send proofs. It’s so fun! So after we completed your Design Day, what were your thoughts/feelings?

CH: I never would have thought I would be able to flesh out a brand design and logo, sales page, and brand assets for my brand new course in less than six hours. I felt more confident to put out my offer out into the world!

RA: Yes! What was your favorite part of the Design Day process?

CH: My favourite part of the Design Day was the ease and flow with the whole process. I was initially nervous but as soon as we began you already had immediate connection to what I was after and immediately aligned with it.

RA: So good. What would you say to someone who is on the fence about a Design Day for their own business?

CH: Go for it! it takes a lot of guess work out of your hands, more importantly it allows you the time to focus on areas of your genius zone.

RA: Finally, what's going on in your business right now where people can get involved with what you're doing?

CH: I am currently in the middle of relaunching my program for coaches who want to level up their game, coach more confidently and deliver life changing results for their clients. Here’s the waitlist where you can be the first to hear when it launches.

RA: Thank you so SO much for chatting with me Chioma and everyone else, you HAVE to check out Chioma’s Instagram where she shares advice on how to transform the lives of your clients and your coaching careers at the same time. You can find her on Instagram @iamchiomaonyiuke
